Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar set Bhubaneswar abuzz on Saturday as massive crowds gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor during his visit to the city. The atmosphere turned festive as fans thronged the venue, cheering and waving to their favourite star.
Addressing the gathering, Akshay Kumar delivered a strong and impactful social message, especially directed at the youth.
“I request all young people to stay away from drugs and always respect your parents. They are the biggest strength in your life,” he said, drawing loud applause from the audience.
The actor also showered praise on Bhubaneswar and expressed gratitude for the love he received from the people of Odisha.
“This is a beautiful and sacred city. I have visited Bhubaneswar before as well, and the love and warmth I receive here always touch my heart,” Akshay Kumar said.
