A chilling case of a missing employee has surfaced from Odisha, exposing a disturbing shadow over corporate accountability and employee safety. What began as a routine escort duty for a young security guard has now turned into a nightmare that refuses to fade — marked by silence, unanswered questions, and an unsettling trail of abandoned identity.
Jitendra Sahoo, aged around 25, is a native of Tinkibina village in Deoghar. He was presently posted at IMFA, Cuttack–Choudwar, Where working as a security guard at IMFA, Cuttack, deployed through CARE Security and Allied Services. Like thousands of contractual workers, Jitendra depended entirely on his employer’s instructions and protection. On 13 December 2025, he was officially sent from IMFA Cuttack to IMFA Visakhapatnam on an escort duty with trucks, a task that placed him far from home and entirely within the operational control of the company system.
According to duty records, Jitendra reached Visakhapatnam on 15 December 2025. He was expected to return to Cuttack on 16 December 2025. That return never happened. From that day onward, Jitendra Sahoo simply vanished — no phone calls, no messages, no explanation.
What has deeply disturbed observers is not just the disappearance, but the cold silence that followed. IMFA, one of the most powerful industrial houses in the region, reportedly did not inform the employee’s family, nor did it issue any immediate alert or clarification regarding his whereabouts. For days, the family remained in the dark, left to imagine the worst, while a worker who left home for duty failed to return alive or accounted for.
The case took a horrific turn when Jitendra’s uniform, identity card, and personal belongings were recovered from an unknown location. The items confirmed his identity — but raised terrifying questions. If the belongings are found, where is the employee? How does a man disappear, leaving behind the symbols of his very existence?
